Short Film Tutorial #1: Developing Your Story | The Vine
My goal for this short film is to create a film for the family. Something that I can play with the little ones around thats funny for everyone.
The breakdown of things needed will be simple for this short film. The first thing that need is the script which I have already written up. Then I am drawing a storyboard. I plan on having this done by friday of 1/18/14 . After the storyboard is complete I’ll get all the costumes and props ready and start shooting. Since we dont have that many costume and props to put together I want to be done shooting all footage by 1/29/14. When I’m done with shooting my footage I plan on editing and adding all special FX in after effects. It shouldnt take too long with the editing of the film itself but the special FX part will take the most time to complete. I will give myself till 2/26/14 to have it complete.

I’m currently working on a short film, called ” The Adventures of Ruby Red”. It’s about a young girl and the bazaar thing that happens when her mom leaves her home alone for the first time. In this short film I will be using 3ds max, adobe premier as well as Photoshop illustrator and after effects. The film will take place in the average american home, where a mother is busy getting her things together for the market. She’s worried about leaving her daughter Ruby home alone even though she’s old enough and the market is less than five min. away she still worries. When the mother leaves that’s when something strange and out of this world happens and it’s up to Ruby to handle the situation before her mother gets home and loses her faith that young Ruby can be on her own.

This is the cardboard cut out for my cologne kryptonite. With the theme being a material from another world I figured I would keep to that theme. With the slogan “Kryptonite…a fragrance for the universe.
I designed this box with superman as my inspiration. I thought if I was making a cologne it would have to be something serious so it’s called “Kryptonite”. I also designed the logo.
